  • Enrollment Process

    When you initiate the enrollment process for a course on the Sheepdog Church Security (Thinkific) course site, you are sent to a checkout process with two steps:

    1. Sign up for a student account, or log into an existing student account.
    2. Select a payment method, input credit card details and confirm the purchase.

    On sign up, you input the following to create a student account on the Sheepdog Church Security (Thinkific) course site:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • Password

    Once you have entered the code and hit Apply, the new total for your order will be shown and you can type in your billing information (if applicable) and select Purchase to continue.

    The Student Dashboard

    After a student account is created, you can log into your student dashboard to change any of your previously input information including your account’s password and credit card details.

    Returning Students

    Returning students log in via Sheepdog Church Security (Thinkific) course site’s sign in page ( which brings you to your student dashboard where you may resume courses or access your account details ('My Account') from a drop-down menu in the header.

  • The Course Player

    Once you have enrolled, you’ll be given immediate access to the course via the Course Player. The Course Player is the course-taking environment itself - the part of where you can go to view the curriculum, watch videos, take quizzes, and more!

    Taking a Quiz

    Quizzes are not just an evaluation tool; they encourage learning. Each Individual Online Course ends with a short 10 to 15 question quiz to confirm your comprehension of the subject material and to have you immediately engage with the content that was just presented. Once complete, you are awarded with a certificate of training.

    Pass or Fail Quizzes

    Each quiz has a passing grade of 70% or higher. If you do not pass the quiz, you will see the overview screen immediately and will be encouraged to try again.

    Immediately after completing the quiz you’ll see the lesson interstitial page (the one that updates you on your progress through the course), but you can click on the lesson in the left navigation bar of the course player to see an overview of your quiz results.

    How Certificates are Issued

    After you complete the course, the certificate will be issued 'on-click' which means that your certificate will be generated and issued once you click "Generate my Certificate".

  • Troubleshooting Computer Issues

    The vast majority of the time we get questions that are course-specific. When they aren't, they're almost always a local computer issue. Regardless, we are happy to help.

    We ask that you tell us what browser you are using and what device. If possible, send over a screen shot or two of what you are seeing on your end.

    We also ask that you try these troubleshooting steps - these should help resolve a lot of computer issues!

    1. Clear cache and restart the browser
    2. Try a different browser (we like Google Chrome)
    3. Try an Incognito / Private Window (this will rule out an issue with browser extensions).
    4. Restart the device
    5. If possible, try a different device.
    6. If possible, try a different internet connection.
